HI! i’m KERRY
Welcome to – my little space on the internet.
I’m a blonde girl living in the land of the concrete cows and roundabouts (Milton Keynes) with my husband.
I’m a girl with a passion for not letting my wheels define me. A self-confessed planning addict and list-maker. Finding a great life quote. Love to capture the moment. Lover of equality and inclusion.
I have a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy a muscle-wasting condition called FHL1 Gene Mutation. My wheelchair/disability may be the first thing or possibly the only thing people see when they first meeting me. However, I want my disability to be seen in a positive way rather than a burden. It’s made me the person I am today and the reason behind this blog.
I created “My Life, Kerry’s Way” back in 2016 as a way of sharing my experiences living with a physical disability as well as the other aspects of my life and what I see from my Go-Kart (wheelchair). Follow my campaigning journey in trying to make the world a more inclusive place.
I want to share my experiences in the hope that it might inspire just one person to do what they want in life.
Thanks for stopping by and please stick around for a while longer so we can share our adventures together.
I’d love to hear from you, You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
