Welcome to  – my little space on the internet.

I’m a blonde girl living in the land of the concrete cows and roundabouts (Milton Keynes) with my husband and our two cats, Skye and fudge.

I’m a girl with a passion for not letting my wheels define me. A self-confessed planning addict and list-maker. Finding a great life quote. Love to capture the moment. Lover of Aloe Vera.

I also have a muscle-wasting condition called FHL1 Gene Mutation Muscular Dystrophy. My wheelchair/disability may be the first thing or possibly the only thing people see when they first meet me. However, I want my disability to be seen in a positive way rather than a burden. It’s made me the person I am today and the reason behind this blog.

I created “My Life, Kerry’s Way” as a way of sharing my experiences living with a physical disability as well as the other aspects of my life and what I see from my Go-Kart (wheelchair).

Expect my crazy experiences, how Aloe Vera has helped me, reviews on accessible places I’ve stayed or just popped into, I want to share my experiences in the hope that it might inspire just one person to do what they want in life.

With the odd Aloe Vera-related review and lifestyle post thrown in the mix for good measure.

Thanks for stopping by and please stick around for a while longer so we can share our adventures together.

I’d love to hear from you, so please get in touch by emailing me at kerrym.thompson@yahoo.com, filling in the contact form or leave a comment on a post. You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,  Pinterest.
