This year I turned the big 40, I know, I know I don’t look a day over 29! it had me thinking of all the things I’ve always said I wanted to do. Plus I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of having my own bucket list. I love reading everyone else’s and would always say things like, “oh must add that to my bucket list!” but never actually had a physical list.
So my question Is, is 40 to old to write a bucket list!?
my husband definitely gave me a funny look when I said I’m going to write a bucket list. But then again most of the stuff I do my husband looks at me as if I’m a weirdo (proof this Is the card I got for our anniversary in July!)
Now, without further ado, here is my bucket list.
THE BUCKET LIST
-
Visit the London eye
I’ve always want to see the sights of London so I guess the best place to start would be the London eye
-
Disabled skiing
I skied when I was younger and able-bodied and loved it wasn’t to bad either, so it’s definitely something I’d love to do again and experience as a disabled person
-
Visit Buckingham palace/ tower of London
Now not going to lie I’m a huge royalist Absolutely love everything royal and the history behind them it’s always fascinated me and probably the only subject at school I was good at history. I had so much stuff like mugs books you name it I more than likely had it, so to see all that history is a dream come true for me. Hint hint hubby!!
-
Disabled scuba diving
I discovered this little exciting beauty last year after a holiday to Lanzarote, of course immediately got super excited.
-
Visit New York
Who doesn’t enough said!
-
Amsterdam
This trip has been on my “list” for years and not for reasons you all may think, cheeky!! not going to say I don’t want to experience the delights of a Caffe over there might try a cheeky “brownie” if I’m brave enough.
-
Visit Paris
See the delights of the Eiffel Tower and get a romantic picture, Add a lock to one of the love bridges (if you still can) also see the Louvre Museum.
-
Disney Florida
I’ve been to Disney in California when I was in my 20’s, I’d love to experience Florida with hubby as we are like to big children when it comes to things like this.
-
Watch an outdoors movie
I’ve seen them advised in my area and always thought how cool but never been.
-
Travel to a new country
Traveling to somewhere new seeing the beauty of a country I’ve never been before.
-
Go to a festival
Who doesn’t want to get stuck in a muddy field in a wheelchair!
-
Go on a Caribbean cruise
Just have to remember not to put my Wheelchair on manual haha!!
So, that’s what I have for now! I’m sure I’ll add more as I go along, I will update this post as I cross items off of. I hope to include photo or video documentation of everything!
