Happy new year, Feels like it was last year I spoke to you all last!! Ha ha Sorry my attempt at my very bad humour but I’m sure if your regular reads your totally use to that by now… Plus totally couldn’t help myself!
We are well and truly into the new year now, slowly getting back to some kind of normality after the festive season, whether it be work mode (that’s if you’ve not already gone back), taking down the tree for another year or if your like me that sexy new daily planner you got for Christmas is getting filled out.
What does the new year mean to you??
Does it mean setting new goals, new year new me, giving something up like dry January or absolutely nothing!? It’s hard not to see or hear people in January saying My New years resolution/s are…..
Me; I went back to read my post from 2019 I surprised myself not really remembering what I had wrote, I ticked off almost everything which I’m pretty chuffed about like decluttering my home that’s been huge project all year and saying yes more instead of finding lame reasons of why I can’t, venturing out more, all things I can say have bettered me as a person to bring me into this year so I’m not going to change those goals and keep them going into this year as it will only Make me grow more as a person.
Same as I wrote last; I’ve never really gone for the “traditional” New Year resolution/s of sorts, I work on myself most days having depression, I’m eating healthier than before because of type II diabetes, that definitely makes you feel like your dieting most day’s.
So like last year I have set myself new goals as well as keeping old one, new one’s are being more focused on my campaigning work for changing places toilets and better access for housing, shops, restaurants, travel that list is endless, plan of action ready to execute. So this year is pretty much the same as last year
• Go out more (Finding new adventures)
• Saying yes more (Within reason)
• More focused on Campaigning
This is only a short and hopefully sweet post as I’m sure your pretty sick of hearing, reading about happy new year goals!
I’m ready fire is in my belly for 2020!
Have you got a New years resolution/s or set goals like myself I’d love to here what’s on yours. Leave me a comment.
“The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.”
